Every November I travel to New York City as a buyer for Nephew's of Mackinac. I have worked for this family-owned Mackinac boutique for over 20 years. We head to New York to meet with a few vendors who do not travel to regional shows. I look forward to this trip each year. I love New York in the Fall. Hello.... Poppins is taking a little breather after a busy season on Mackinac. The shop will open for a few days between Christmas and New Year and in January I will start preparing for the 2016 season. The winter months are filled with lots of research, buying and planning. Although the shop doors are closed I still stay quite busy. I hope to share some of my news in this blog.
